Paul Flynn


Paul Flynn, Head of Traditional Arts with the Irish Arts Council the Irish government agency responsible for the development and funding of the arts in Ireland. Paul previously was the Traditional Arts Officer with the Arts Council of Northern Ireland from 2004 to 2008.

He is currently co-managing the Tradition Now series – a partnership between the Arts Council and the National Concert Hall, Dublin, Ireland and was co-curator with the FolkLife Festival at the Smithsonian Institution in Washington D.C. in 2007. Originally from An Mullach Bán in South Armagh, Paul plays the fiddle and is interested in the Ulster song tradition.
