I Draw Slow
I Draw Slow is a five piece roots band from Dublin. They have just released their fifth studio album. Their previous album, Turn Your Face to the Sun, went to No 1 in the Irish Independent charts. Their sound is a blend of Appalachia, Irish traditional and contemporary alt roots. Fronted by songwriters and siblings Dave and Louise Holden, I Draw Slow songs are covered extensively by other bands across Europe and the US. The band are signed to Nashville label Compass Records and have a loyal following in the US where they have played major roots festivals such as Grey Fox, Pickathon and Merlefest. Their music is on rotation on influential roots radio station WNCW as well as campus radio stations across the US. I Draw Slow songs have been licenced for TV and advertising and their spirited and emotionally arresting live performances bring fans from far and wide whenever they play.
