For Individual Artists and Industry Experts
Individual Membership - €70/year
- Specifically for solo participants in the folk music industry, not applicable to companies, festivals, groups, bands, or organizations.
- Offers one individual access to all YRAS benefits and discounts.
- Provides a single vote in YRAS member voting activities.
- Membership benefits are exclusive to the individual and non-transferable.
- Renewal is required annually.
Lifetime Membership - €1,000 (One-Time Payment)
- A lifetime commitment with just one payment of €1,000. Say goodbye to annual fees! Payment plan options available (email contact@showingroots.com for details).
- All benefits of an Individual Membership, plus special recognition as a lifetime member.
- Enjoy lifelong benefits with no need for renewal. Non-transferable
Partner Membership - €100/year
- Perfect for two individuals who are life, business, or performing partners. Not suitable for businesses or organisations.
- Allows two individuals to enjoy YRAS benefits and discounts.
- Grants two votes in YRAS elections and member voting matters.
- Both individuals are eligible to run for the Board of Directors.
- Partner details are added once the membership is approved.
- Membership requires annual renewal by 31st January.

Membership Categories for Bands and Organisations
Small Organization - €150/year
- Ideal for bands of up to 5 members.
- Suited for For-Profit Organisations, festivals, and agencies with an annual budget under €250,000, or Not-for-Profit Organisations with a budget under €375,000.
- Includes up to 5 authorized profiles for YRAS benefits and discounts.
- Each vote holds a weight of three in member-voted activities.
- Additional sub-account profiles can be added after membership approval.
- Membership renewal is required annually by 31st January.
Medium Organization - €250/year
- Designed for bands with 6 to 9 members.
- For-Profit Organisations, festivals, and agencies with annual budgets between €250,000 and €750,000, or Not-for-Profit Organisations with budgets between €375,000 and €1 Million.
- Up to 9 profiles can be authorized for YRAS benefits and discounts.
- Votes have a weight of five in all member-voted activities.
- Additional profiles can be added post-approval.
- Annual renewal required by 31st January.
Large Organisation - €500/year
- Suitable for bands with 10 to 20 members.
- For For-Profit Organisations, festivals, and agencies with budgets over €750,000, or Not-for-Profit Organisations with budgets over €1 Million.
- Includes up to 20 authorized profiles for YRAS benefits and discounts.
- Votes carry a weight of ten in member-voted activities.
- Additional profiles can be added after approval.
- Membership expires annually on 31st January.
Community Membership - €50/year (Non-Industry and Non-Artist)
- Reserved for non-industry professionals, fans, students, volunteers, or enthusiasts.
- Ideal for those supporting YRAS's goals but not actively participating in the music industry. Industry professionals must opt for a voting membership.
- Non-voting membership with annual expiry on 31st January.
Note: Community Members do not receive conference discounts and are ineligible to vote.
