An Chéad Ghlúin Eile (ACGE)

Ireland

An Chéad Ghlúin Eile (ACGE), Irish for 'The Next Generation', are Sean-Nós singing sisters from the Ráth Chairn Gaeltacht in Meath, Ireland. The native Irish speakers won TG4’s family talent contest ‘Réalta agus Gaolta’ in 2019. Following in the steps of their granduncle, Darach Ó Catháin, a famous Sean-Nós singer, the sister duo perform traditional Irish & folk songs in harmony all over Ireland, abroad and on TV. Their music is on all streaming platforms. Their debut album ‘Cá’il an Bheirt?’ won ‘Album of the Year’ at the 2025 NÓS Awards! The folk-singing duo were Ealaín na Gaeltachta's 2022 Culture Night Ambassadors. ACGE actively promote Irish songs and culture on social media @AnCheadGhluinEile.
