Kevin Quigley & The Great Ideas
Ireland

“If Americana could be made Irish, Kevin Quigley has cracked the code” Hot Press Magazine
Fresh off the back of a sold-out headline show upstairs at Whelan’s, a fantastic performance at Coughlan’s Roots Festival, and supporting the legendary Mary Black in several iconic Irish venues, Kevins 2025 has been shaping up to be his biggest yet, as he reaches new audiences and milestones. A storyteller whose authenticity forges a deep, emotional connection with his audience. Weaving vivid narratives into his folk-infused sound, he breathes new life into a timeless genre with a bright, contemporary perspective. Inspired by iconic artists such as Bob Dylan, Glen Hansard, Bruce Springsteen, Tom Petty, and R.E.M, Quigley's music resonates with a genuine spirit, blending classic folk sensibilities with a modern rock edge. As Music Crowns notes, “his work embodies a true and heartfelt approach to songwriting”.
The last year has been packed with new releases and major performances across Ireland and France – from the French Alps to the INEC Arena, Cork Opera House, Royal Theater Waterford, Connollys of Leap, Coughlans, Whelan’s, Kavanaghs, Cyprus Avenue, Sea Church, The Whitehorse and more – Headlining and sharing the stage with the likes of Mary Black, Hermitage Green, Ispíní na hÉireann, Diveboy, and The Pale. Quigley's journey is one of authentic connection, evident in his performances at acclaimed Irish venues. Kevin is gearing up to release his highly anticipated EP Catch You Down the Road, an exciting new chapter in his musical journey where he will be embarking on his first Irish tour to promote the release.
