Anna Katarina

Canada

Anna Katarina is an indie Canadian-American singer-songwriter, multi-instrumentalist (vocals, keys, guitars) and performer known for her honest voice, bold lyrics, and diverse compositions, often described as a modern mélange of Joni Mitchell and Sheryl Crow. Her debut solo album, Daisychain (October 14th, 2022) showcases Katarina’s unapologetic lyricism, distinctive production, and a sonic scape reminiscent of Taylor Swift’s Folklore and Kathleen Edwards’ Voyager. She is currently working on an album live video series, supported by the Canada Council for the Arts. Katarina toured Europe in May 2023, is an Official Showcase Artist at Toronto’s NXNE Festival (June) and Arts Touring Alliance of Alberta (October), and will be on tour all summer in Western USA/Canada tour. In 2022 she completed a 4-month performance and songwriting residency in Nashville, TN. Katarina is a full-scholarship recipient from Folk Alliance International, and an alumnus of SOCAN Foundation’s TD Creative Incubator, CMI Artist Entrepreneurship, Selkirk College and Berklee College of Music.
