Creole Rock

Gavin Mendonca, now known as Creole Rock, is a Folk/Rock Musician from Guyana - known for creating his own style of music by fusing Classic Guyanese/Caribbean Folk Music techniques, rhythms and melodies with Punk Rock. He has represented Guyana on multiple cultural platforms including Dubai Expo 2020, Beijing Expo 2019, Folk Alliance International 2020,2022 and 2023, Ethno USA, Ethno Sweden and most recently - American Music Abroad Academy in Colombia. Gavin is dedicated to preserving his country's folk music while building cultural bridges around the world. His dynamic presentations will surely have folks intrigued and swinging their hips to the sound of Guyanese Creolese in Song.
