The New Leaves

The New Leaves are a brand-new alternative folk group hailing from the picturesque townlands of Carlingford Lough. The band are gathering a loyal fan-base, singing delicious, harmony laden songs about the awe-inspiring nature and mythology of their hometown. Fronted by local singer-songwriter Decky Mc Kay, the band also includes other local singers Cian O Hare (Guitar and Vocals) and Patrice Mc Kevitt (Bass and Vocals). The wistful acoustics and harmonies are held together by percussionist Paddy Goodfellow. The band have played a handful of sold out shows in their local area; their debut single 'In the Shadow of the Mournes' is set for digital release 12th May, 2023.
