Starting his musical journey at a young age, Brendan has built an impressive career as a performer, recording artist, and educator. He is a founding member of the folk band Kern and has collaborated with numerous notable artists, including Dónal Lunny and Sharon Shannon. Brendan's music is a vibrant blend of tradition and innovation, drawing influences from various cultures and genres, making him a standout figure in the world of Irish traditional music​. Brendan is the co founder of Your Roots Are Showing - Ireland's Folk Conference.
