Yellofox
Netherlands

Yellofox plays soulful contemporary Folk-Americana—acoustic grooves, rich harmonies, and honest storytelling for melancholic dreamers, naïve idealists, and tender bon vivants.
Think: on the road through America with a trunk full of ideals and dreams, and you’ll get the Yellofox vibe.
Drawing from the sounds of the ’60s and ’70s (Paul Simon, Gram Parsons, Jackson Browne, Nick Drake), as well as modern artists like Bonnie Prince Billy, Eels, The Barr Brothers, and Fleet Foxes, Yellofox creates a unique and personal sound. Their songs explore universal human themes—longing, ambition, doubt, and hope—and are sometimes bluesy, sometimes folky, always rich in story and full of energy.
Layered melodies and distinctive vocal harmonies are trademarks of their style. Their acoustic instrumentation—where a rocking cello might lead and an atmospheric guitar follows—gives their music its unmistakable character. It’s during live shows that their dynamic, intimate sound truly comes alive.
But Yellofox is more than music alone. The creative heart of the band—Marc Mosmans and Jorieke de Vet—also bring visual storytelling into the mix. With backgrounds in visual arts, they produce their own music videos and documentaries and design all of Yellofox’s striking artwork.
In 2025, they released the acoustic EP Dream On, following their second album For the Dreamers (2023), which the press described as “an ode to melancholic dreamers, naïve idealists, and tender bon vivants.” They are currently working on their third studio album with producer Martijn Groeneveld (Blaudzun, Tangarine), with the first singles set for release in mid-2026.
